AEROSMITH “GET YOUR WINGS” GREAT HARD ROCK LP

AEROSMITH “GET YOUR WINGS” (U.S. COLUMBIA 32847) 1974 ANOTHER CLASSIC ROCK LP AND MY PERSONAL AERO FAVE. CVR IS VG+ HAS SOME WEAR, DISC IS BETTER VG++ COUPLE SMUDGES, SCUFFS BUT PLAYS BALLZY. “Get your Wings” is indeed a great album and still is my favorite album by the Boston group. It is a clear step forward from their self titled debut album. The songs are getting heavier and less bluesy, but the Blues influence is still audible in almost every song. In my opinion Aerosmith changed their style slightly and delivered with „Get Your Wings“ their first hard rock album, which is an important and defining album for the American hard rock along with the first Montrose LP, early Grand Funk Albums and the first couple of LPs of KISS.
