BURNT RIVER BAND – “Recorded Live At Carlton Harley Davidson Annual Swap Meet/Mantua, Ohio”: This is a original 1981 U.S. vinyl LP private pressing released on Wild Turkey Records.

This LP is an extremely obscure(even in the band’s Cleveland, Ohio hometown; I don’t remember ever seeing this available in local stores, as it was sold almost exclusively at gigs & motorcycle shops) private pressing(dig the record label name!) by a local biker barband doing guitar boogie rock & blues similar to Canned Heat, with partying outlaw lyrics about choppers, women, boogieing, drinking, women, choppers, women(check out the song titles in the photo…),…. Most of the songs are originals. The band was in existence for many years(and for all I know, could still be playing gigs today)–although there were personnel changes–playing local dives and touring around the U.S. playing biker swap meets, barbeques, & assorted blowouts.
