ERIC CLAPTON “BACKLESS” IN SHRINK W HYPE STICKER GATEFOLD

ERIC CLAPTON “BACKLESS” (U.S. RSO) VG++ SHRINK w/hype sticker gatefold… Record vg++Very similar in style to Slowhand, simple rhythm and blues songs with a slight country flair to it. The first two songs are in total continuation from the previous album, Roll it sounds like a Rolling Stones, Exile inspired track. Tell Me That You Love Me is a very nice Blues song, sung very well with enough sorrow in his voice. Early in the morning is a lengthy blues number but the delivery is flat. Promises is a clear single here and apparently did well, nice sing a long song. The album ends well with Golden ring and Tulsa Time.
