Description

FLEETWOOD MAC “SAME” (U.S. REPRISE) 1975 W LYRIC SHEET This hard to find original vintage album is in great collectible condition and is complete with sleeve and lyrics insert. The album cover does have some light corner bends and shelf wear. The sleeve retains its perforated coupon offer for Warner Bros “Limo Album” mail in offer. The lyrics insert is near perfect. The vinyl shows evidence of use with some light scratches but nothing that would effect the sound quality of these awesome Fleetwood Mac classics. VG++/VG++ This is the album before Rumours and equally a classic. You just can’t go wrong with any Fleetwood Mac album from the Buckingham/Nicks/McVie/McVie/Fleetwood era. This is the first album made by that million selling line up. And rightfully so. Pop gem after pop gem, but with an edge. Stevie Nicks songs are the huge and anthemic pop songs (“Rhiannon”, “Landslide”). Christine McVie’s are, as usual, the lovely ones (“Warm Ways”, “Sugar Daddy”). And Lindsay Buckingham ones are the most interesting and in my opinion the best ones: “Monday Morning” and “I’m So Afraid”. Fleetwood Mac would become even better in the following albums, but that’s because Lindsay Buckingham took over more and more the control of the band. So yeah, speaking about a winning combination. With three world class songwriters, it was only obvious that the band became so so big.
