MERRILL & THE EXILES “The Early Years” great music

MERRELL AND THE EXILES – “The Early Years (1964 – 1967)”:   This is an ORIGINAL U.S. 1994 limited & numbered(on the back cover) vinyl LP release(by American Sound Records)–including the original poster insert–of an early MERRELL FANKHAUSER(x-THE IMPACTS; pre-FAPARDOKLY, MERRELL FANKHAUSER & H.M.S. BOUNTY, MU) band, which also included JEFF COTTON(pre-CAPT. BEEFHEART, MU), LARRY WILLEY(pre-MU), & JOHN FRENCH(pre-CAPT. BEEFHEART). Â The 16 songs(13 unissued/3 from early 45s) were recorded between 1964 & ’67.As was typical with LP’s issued by this collectors’ label, this LP was never originally factory-sealed, but since I got a quantity of this LP(and others) directly from the label many years ago, it’s probably unplayed, as it looks to be in AS NEW/UNPLAYED condition like the day it was pressed.

The cover does have a bit of wear due to the lack of protective factory shrinkwrap, shipping/handling, storage during all of these years, etc. so VG++/M… long oop. Merrill Fankhauser made so much great music in his time, I am happy to say I know him.
