POLYPHONY “Without Introduction”

U.S.Private Progsters!

1 in stock

POLYPHONY “Without Introduction” (U.S.11TH Hour) 1972  Probably one of the best 3 progressive rock lps to be released in the U.S. during this time. The first side is mainly made up of “Juggernaut” with another song as well. What an epic track!.  Cvr is solid VG++ (Others ex) and the disc is between VG+ and VG++, largely toward the latter. So a nice copy if not tops. A keeper considering this is hard to get at this point. This only album by the US progressive rock band Polyphony is a pretty satisfying totality. There are four tracks here and in my opinion the album is a pretty balanced package even if the highlights are quite obvious. The best parts here are those two longest songs “Juggernaut” and “Ariel’s Flight”. Especially “Juggernaut” is a strong song. “Crimson Dagger” is quite OK as well but not on the same level as those two aforementioned songs

Martin Ruddy (backing vocals, bass), Christopher Spong (drums), Craig Massey (vocals, organ, moog), Glenn Howard (vocals, guitars), Chatty Cooper (percussion)
