The inclusion of Pat Taylor adds another dimension to the proceedings – she has classy alto vocal. There’s a variety of first-rate songs here – ‘Look Around Rock’, ‘Sands Of Love’, ‘Gone To Sorrow’ and ‘Return Home’ are highlights. There’s a couple of country rock songs where Merrill takes over on vocals and does a solid job, especially on the jangly ‘The Now’. There’s no huge song but there’s no real bad one either, it all falls into a desirable late 60’s Westcoast rock set.
