TEXTURED CVR IS EX NICE

Crazy Horse’s self-titled album is an excellent collection of music that combines elements of both country rock and psychedelic rock. For anyone who knows my music taste, these are genres that I really enjoy. So for me, this album felt like the best of both worlds.
So many tracks on this album are just filled with a ton of energy. The opening track, “Gone Dead Train,” features a catchy blues rock melody but with the fuzziness of psychedelic rock. Immediately the following track, “Dance, Dance, Dance,” has a real country swing with it’s use of violins and lyrics. Occasionally, there’s quieter, acoustic tracks such as “I Don’t Want to Talk About It,” but they don’t take away from the album’s high energy. Again, the melodies on this album are phenomenal. It goes to show how talented this group is.
