Delicate psych pop with slight baroque flourishes and a singer with a somewhat eerie voice which enhances versions of “Nature Boy”, “Hang On To A Dream” and “Me About You” beyond mere covers- they are truly transformed. Of the originals, “Golden Earrings”, “Scarlet Ribbons” and “Can You Travel In The Dark Alone?” are probably the best. Not the folky renaissance fair style album I was expecting by the band name and album cover- and that’s probably a good thing.
