GNAWBONE “Same” (U.S. Midcoast) 1980  Extremely rare folk mixing English and Appalachian elements from college student quartet. The acoustic instruments are dulcimers, flutes, jews harp, and more. About half the album is traditional numbers like “Pretty Polly” and “Lark in the Morning”. The band’s female vocalist has a somewhat ethereal sound to her voice which added to the name and the cover gives the entire package a gothic edge…Very rare…VG+/M- lite cvr wear.
