This is the second of Pink Floyd’s film soundtracks, with their first one being More, and the final album they would release prior to The Dark Side of the Moon. It’s very interesting, if you listen to all of the Pink Floyd albums in a row up to DSOTM in order, you can hear them slowly transition to the Floyd style that got them famous. I went into this with high hopes and it paid off. I liked More just fine but this album is better than that. Unlike most of the Floyd’s other albums, all the songs on this one are relatively short, being under 6 minutes each. And none of them are bad.
