SANTANA “SAME” (U.S. COLUMBIA) SHRINK w/hype sticker 1st pressing.. CVR VG++ IN SHIRNK.. Disc is vg+ on both sides side two being a bit better….. Serviceable copy.. Santana’s sound was pretty unique when their debut dropped, and the sound still holds up all these years later; the Latin influences, most notably in the drums and organs, give the band a nice perch for their sound to sit on. And Carlos Santana’s masterful guitar playing helps hold everything together. “Evil Ways” is the classic song here, but there’s plenty of solid tracks through (such as “Jingo” and “Treat”).
