Excellent US Hard Progressive, reminding at times King Crimson “Red” era but with heavier guitars and lots of mellotron. A few other influences are occasionally evident too and even a raw, garagey approach specially in vocal field, but sung parts are fortunately sparse. A pity the record is very short, but you can listen full concert in the expanded CD issue, retitled “Splitting Ions in the Ether M-/M-
