WHITE WING “Same” (U.S.ASI) 1976 This vinyl record is the debut (and only) full-length release from the Rapid City South Dakota group The unopened, sealed album has nice sharp corners and no stickers, corner bends, writing or cutout marks.Great album and now in high demand amongst collectors.The songwriting is usually competent, the rhythms are fast and there are occasional Mellotron showers and interesting organ runs to be found.Depsite the sharp-edged guitar, the sound is closer to Classic Rock due to the straightforward tunes and the accesible lead vocals.Anyway, a quite solid release.English and Coates along with guest singer Larry Galbraith went on to form Asia.
