Man, I dunno what it is about this album but I constantly am hoping I could find something else that sounds like anything close to this. This is an absolutely perfect marriage of death metal and stoner/doom. The entire album is made up of great songs, but The Amp Hymn stands out as one of the greatest metal songs ever written as far as I’m concerned. I could listen to that song for days on end.
