PRINCE & THE REVOLUTION “PARADE” (U.S. WARNER) 1986 NICE SOLID VG+/VG++ COPY OF GOOD LP. Today, in 2021 (35 years later), I love this album more and more. “Under the Cherry Moon” is such a fine tune as only Prince may do it. His singing is perfect. Totally emotional. He changes from pop to funk to film to jazz music. Most every song with experimental elements (atonal chords, reduced instrumentation) and commercial capability.
Prince renewed himself, revolutionized “The Revolution” and found the perfect image in a cover that told his story. Almost perfect.
